"The sadness will last forever" -Vincent Van Gogh

Vincent was 16 when he started woking at Goupil & Co in Hauge. He had a younger brother, Theo who throughout his life he wrote letters. Vincent was a telented artist and writer.
Van Goghs firm transferd to london ,then paris where he became increasingly intrested in religeon but he was dissmissed fromthe gospil for lack of motovation. He then became a teachers assitant  then returned to amsterdam to study theology in 1877.
Vincent dropped out in 1878 and becam a layman preacher in Belgium in a poor mining reagion knowen as Borinage.He would even go into the mines himself to preach. He was dissmissed after 6 months, without pay. Around this time Vincent began doing some charcole sketches.
In most recent letters, Theo suggested vincent take up painting, and so Vincent did in Earnest. For a little wile  he took painting lessons from Anton Mauve in Hague but soon split ways due to difrent artistic veiws.
1818 came around and vincent had fallen in love, he declaired his love to her,Kee Vos, but she rejected him.  He moved in with a prostitute name Sein Hoornik and he children. He considerd marrying her. Vincent father was totally oppsed to the relationship, even Theo advised against it. Vincent and Sein son split.
Vincent became inspired by Jean Francois Millet and began painting rual sceans, He moved to Holland Drenthe then Nuenen and then north Brabant andalso to the Neatherlands. He painted there in 1885.
He came in touch with japanese art and became infactuated. he collected it eagerly.
Later Vincent began [ainting pictures of sunflowers for his friend to decorate his home with. The sun flowers would become his signature pieces, but somthing eles was brewing in vincents head, soming he couldent control. Van Goghs declining mental health was evident to everyone around him.
Around 1888 Vincent began to suffer from epilepsy, psychotic attacks, and delusions. Such episodes wer responcable for Vincent presuing a friend with a kinfe and in the end mutalating his ear and gifting it to Kee Voss(his devorced prostature wife).Vincent was hospitalised and when he got out he found his friend switfy leavinf the city and his dream of an artistsic community was shatterd.
Vincent admitted himself to a mental hospital in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, here he painted frequently although he could not paint long with out an episode he endured. in the instatue me managed to produced The Starry Night, which later became one of his most famous works.
Vincent left The facility in 1890 and started contacting Theo again.
Vincent painted like a mad man (Ha Ha), almost one painting a day. He veiwd his life as a total waste and impossible to live.
On July 27, 1890 , Vincent attepted suicide by shooting himself in the chest. He died two days later from the wound.Vincents land lord found him when he was on the brink of death and witnessed Vincents last words: "The sadness will last forever". Vincents life was not a pleasent one, but it was because so that his art is so beautiful and renound.
